Febuary 1st was St. Brigid's Day and is a great opportunity to celebrate, empower and cherish all the mnà (women) in your life.
The latest issue of Páistí Post is all about acknowledging our fantastic Women. We were lucky enough to be able to interview Jane Connolly, the Irish Ambassador to New Zealand. Jane Quinn, the National Coordinator for the Friends of Ireland - Tara Trust. Our own, Fi Deehan, an amazing communicator, leadership and career coach and facilitator, and lastly, Sarah Rowe, a top triple sportswoman who recently spoke at the Irish Societies across New Zealand.
Páistí Post is the Christchurch Irish Societies Childrens Newsletter. It has activities and colouring in pages, fun facts about Ireland and places to visit, Historical Irish figures in NZ, Folklore and mythical stories, and a page dedicated to learning Irish Language. We will always try to promote our local kids activities, so it is a great opportunity for you to promote your Childrens events, books, acivities or sports.

Roll Up Starts back this Friday 26th January at 5pm.
For those of you who are not aware, 'Roll Up' is a fortnightly get together on a Friday evening for dinner down at the clubrooms. Dinner costs $12, and drinks are available at the bar.
It's a great opportunity to meet new people, connect with the community, and have the craic! Family and Kids welcome, of course.
The next 'Roll Up' date: Friday 9th Febuary at 5pm.
