The Christchurch Irish Society are excited to welcome Theo & G, who have chosen our clubrooms as their venue for their very popular Ceilidh's!

 

Theo & G are set to raise the rafters with their first community barn dance/ Ceilidh for 2025.

 

When: Friday 31st January

Time: 7pm (dancing will start from 7.30pm - 9.30pm)

Where: 29 Domain Terrace, Spreydon 

Price: $10 Adult / $5 Child (families pay no more than $30).
 
Just a reminder to bring a water bottle. We will be dancing solidly with maybe a song here and there for a quick drink and toilet break.
 
Comfortable footwear is a must.

Fingerpicking DelightsFingerpicking Delights

This Sunday evening at the

Christchurch Folk Music Club

 

Tony Hale is pleased to announce details of his ninth Fingerpicking Delights evening and welcomes you back to this showpiece of Christchurch’s guitar fingerpicking talent.

 

Many of our Members are familiar with this concert series, so here's a chance to hear some new talent and welcome back familiar faces.

 

When: Sunday 1st December at 7pm

Where: 29 Domain Terrace, Spreydon

NZGAA National 7'sNZGAA National 7's

It's a busy weekend at the Clubrooms - Saturday morning Canterbury GAA will be in the throws of deciders for all codes.

 

Canterbury GAA are hosting the NZGAA National 7s this Saturday, 30th Nov, on the Spreydon Domain from 9am.

 

We cannot wait to help support Canterbury GAA and all our friends from the GAA community in New Zealand for this years NZGAA Sevens. Come down and join in the fun and soak up the atmosphere. The shop will be open in the clubrooms, so don't miss out on stocking up your treat reserves.

This will be our second to last Club Night for the year, with Friday December 13th being our last one to close out 2024. Come along for a casual dinner and drink, meet some new friends and catch up with old ones. We'd love to see you there!
